| The MMIC offers a broad range of materials free-of-charge to assist new and experienced riders. The ‘Welcome to Our Family’ program includes four brochures and a CD:

- Getting the Right Bike for you brochure. and
- Buying and Insuring your Bike brochure In addition, there are materials about specific motorcycle rider training courses such as the Rider Training Institute’s Learning Curves program and the Canada Safety Council’s Gearing Up program, there is a booklet outlining motorcycle technician apprenticeship programs in Canada and MMIC sponsor’s an insurance program for motorcyclists – the Open Road Insurance Program.
