But these phrases have a different meaning when you "try life on a bike". Court Issues Sound Emmision Decision The municipal court in St-Jean-Sur-Richelieu, Quebec, rendered a decision recently in a sound emission case that had been before the courts for years. The case involved a Kawasaki Vulcan 800 with stock mufflers. The judge ordered an acquittal when the crown decided it had no proof.

ATV Bill Passed in U.S. - Likely to Follow in Canada News has surfaced that the U.S. Congress has passed a provision that all new ATVs sold in the United States will comply with an ANSII/SVIA safety standard. The provision mentioned below is expected to pass and be signed into law shortly.
Canadian ATV Instructors - International Training Guidelines The Canadian Off-Highway Vehicle Distributors Council (COHV) is pleased to announce that the Specialty Vehicle Institute of America (SVIA) has granted the COHV, in partnership with the All-Terrain Quad Council of Canada (AQCC), a royalty-free license to use and reproduce its ATV-ASI all-terrain vehicle training curriculum to train ATV instructors in Canada.

Free MCC membership campaign It has been two months since MMIC and its member companies launched the "Free MCC Membership with the purchase of a new bike or scooter" campaign. Since the launch of the campaign, MMIC has received retail sales numbers from its member companies that indicate motorcycles and scooters sales across Canada are at a record high.
Industry Watch With fuel prices sky rocketing there is a growing interest in two-wheeled transportation. In fact, stats collected by MMIC on behalf of its member companies are showing that motorcycle and scooter retail sales were up almost 13 percent year-to-date as of the end of May 2008.
